A few photos from the former Fiat test track at its headquarters in Torino, Italy. A very odd place, indeed, but well worth the effort if your tastes run to abandoned large scale industrial monuments.

If you are actually interested in this sort of thing, wikipedia has an very interesting entry on the building. Apparently it was in use until 1982 and (this is for your John) appears in the final chase scene of the original “Italian Job”. I have never actually seen this myself, but John assures me it is one of the best car chases ever.
