Bitch Kitty Racing World Update
As you might know from Viewer Mail, Too, I did a short for the local porn festival (obviously this is John). It’s called Zombie Tapioca Lovefest 4000 and will be shown over October 5 and 6 at On the Boards, here in Seattle, under the aegis of The Stranger’s third annual Hump amateur porn festival. ZTL 4000 will not be posted on Bitch Kitty Racing; I do not consider it appropriate for all-ages public consumption.
We had a screening of ZTL at our local private club and invited everyone we could think of. It was a resounding success and there were two unrelated producers in the audience. This is where it gets funny: The sequel to ZTL 4000 will be a short film. I am also doing an unrelated television pilot as the host of a science (science-type) show.
My head got huge for a few weeks there and I was an insufferable, egotistical ass. Even more so than normal. My feet are back on the ground now and I apologize to anyone who may have been bumped by my bloated sense of false self-importance. (As an aside, Keith I played in a band called The Shit Kittens. Our hit single was called John’s Ego.) Having a movie in pre-production does not make one an award-winning, avant-garde director. Doing a pilot for a show does not give one a successful series. I am extremely thankful to have been asked to do these projects, and am trying to keep my eyes wide open during the experience—I don’t want to miss a minute of it.
Zombie Tapioca Lovefest 4000 will be shown publicly, however. The time and dates will be posted here and everywhere else I can think of. Wish the BKR team good luck at Hump. A win there means a lot in terms of publicity, a lot in terms of bragging rights, and a lot in the increased ability to raise money for UNDEAD GIRLS. You want to see this film. Release date: 8/8/2008.
Pure rot and roll!
